After 13 years of school, the morning of graduation has to be exciting for everyone. Seeings how freshman year all I heard was, "I can't wait to be a senior." Well for the 2011 class...our graduation day will be here in just a short 17 weeks.
I can already tell the morning of graduation day for most of us seniors will be both VERY exciting and super nerve racking . For most, we'll spend the whole day thinking about how fast time has flied...and that it's hard to believe in a few short hours you'll take a huge step...or walk... in life.
Starting the day out for girls is probably going to be like any dance or something along the lines of that, with doing your hair just right to go perfectly with your cap, and picking the perfect outfit...even though unfortunately...it will be covered up. Then you pick out the perfect shoes and then its time for your gown to put on. For boys I'm going to guess it's just the same...minus the making sure your hair is perfect.
After getting all dressed up, the nerves really start to kick knowing it's getting closer and closer. For most I bet there will be a lot of picture taking with family and friends. I don't know if this is going to happen to lot of people, but I know there will be tears from my parents and best friend, but I'm also guessing that could be normal. After the pictures it's time for people to get in cars and head to the cellular center.
The moment walking in I know is going to be the hardest, we all waited 13 years for this and all of a sudden it's just there, in front of you. So after we all spend all day thinking about old times, and getting ready, we finally take a deep breath and let the graduation begin. Before we know it, we'll have our class president standing in front of us and wishing us all the best. After we all take that very important walk...the rest is history.
