Valentines Day has many rituals. You could talk about candies, cards, flowers, or anything of that sort that relates to Valentines Day. I am going to narrow it down to just one ritual. The ritual I am going to focus on is a baby cupid shooting an arrow into a girl and they automatically fall in love.
Ever since the beginning of Valentines Day the Cupid idea has been around. Cupid shoots guys and girls and when they are shoot its like a love potion is in them. Its weired to think of someone who falls in love by an arrow shot in them by Cupid.
Why would someone have to shoot an arrow in you to get you to fall in love with them why cant they just walk up to you and say hey I love you? I think that love hurts sometimes and its hard to to love someone every day, every moment, and never just get mad at him/ her. so by Cupid shooting an arrow into the guy/girl its showing pain because love can sometimes bring pain. No matter how much you love someone they are going to do something that will hurt your feelings, so love can bring you pain.

I think you hit it dead on. Love can be very painful but it can also be very beautiful, and I think you hit on that, too. :)
i agree love can hurt you, but not all of the time it just kinda goes with it and you can't help it, you'll get hurt but you just need to get right back up there will always be someone else.
You should go further in depth when explaining the elusive day we know as "Valentines Day." Yes it can be harmful, yes love can be complex. However, isn't there a positive perspective in relevance towards the topic?
I really liked this and I thought you did a good job explaining Valentine's Day. You could have gone into more depth of the actual "point" of Valentine's Day. Good job though!:)
I think you did a good job explaining that love can sometimes hurt, but love doesn't always necessarily cause pain. It also is something very special. I think that you could have maybe gone into more detail describing the actual event and why it's called what it is. Also describing why we think of Valentines Day with giving chocolate.
